The mission of The Domestic Violence Task Force of Pamlico County is to help families live lives free of violence.
 
We expect to accomplish this mission by:
    * Create temporary shelter and support to victims and their families
    * Develop funds to help support a shelter
    * Establish victim's advocate / counselor / coordinator position
    * Set up a 24 / 7 hotline and website
    * Promote community awareness
    * Incorporate guest speakers
    * Work with support staff in the public schools K-12
    * Provide Elder Abuse in programs
